VF Engineering, based in Anaheim, CA, develops and markets supercharger kits for a variety of European vehicles, from Volkswagen to Porsche to Lamborghini. To support the power increases on vehicles modified with their power upgrades, they also developed a line of upgraded engine mounts for Volkswagens.
When they were first released, the VF Engineering mounts, it was the hottest mount upgrade on the market. In fact, it was the ONLY upgrade that included an entire mount (the others were just replacement bushings). Since then, there have been many that tried to imitate the design of these mounts, but VF’s elegant design and aesthetically-appealing styling is still the standard against which all the others are judged.
Constructed of aluminum and polyurethane, these mounts provide a drop-in replacement that adds visual appeal to any engine bay while showing that you mean business. Available for a variety of applications all the way back to the MK3 chassis, there is an option for anyone who wants to ensure their drivetrain is well secured for anyone wanting to make big power. They even offer replacement polyurethane bushings in both the standard red and black, for a more subdued look.
We’ve installed these mounts on many of the high power cars in our portfolio, from K04 fed 1.8Ts to fully built, turbocharged R32s. VF is our first choice in engine mounts for any customer looking to upgrade.
