We were first introduced to RAI Motorsports through Unitronic, the leader in VW/Audi performance software. RAI is usually on hand at H2O International to provide Unitronic with customer relations support and performance software flashes, similar to how we’ve been providing this at Southern Worthersee. It was always a pleasure catching up with Ray and the crew from RAI to discuss new trends in the VW/Audi performance aftermarket, as well as new products they were developing. At H2Oi-2011, RAI told us about their new line of turbo kits that use the new BorgWarner EFR Turbochargers.

We’ve recently signed on as a dealer for RAI’s full line of performance products, including turbo kits using the new Garrett GTx turbos, the new BorgWarner EFR Turbos, and their own variation of the BorgWarner K04, named the K0R-GT.

We recently had the pleasure of installing a RAI Motorsport K0R-GT turbo kit on a 2007 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro. The install went very smoothly, and the car is a blast to drive. There was one issue with a faulty fuel injector that RAI replaced quickly, under warranty, once the injector was confirmed to be the cause of the misfires. That proved to us that their customer support is top notch, and that they are willing to go the extra mile to make sure the customer is satisfied.

Along with turbo kits, RAI Motorsport also produces an ever-expanding line of aftermarket performance products, currently including exhaust systems, downpipes, and test pipes for a variety of models. There is also a catch can solution to address the issues with the infamous FSI PCV system.
